This policy applies only to websites, forms, and services operated by the Canadian company that link to it. It does not apply to a website or service operated independently by MyFamily S.r.l. or another MyFamily entity unless that website or service expressly links to this policy.
We handle personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws, including Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act where applicable.

Respond to questions, provide technical or customer support, and maintain our business relationship with you or your organization.
Send operational communications about accounts, orders, reservations, events, product availability, service issues, and other transactions.

Consent and Communication Choices
We obtain consent in a form appropriate to the sensitivity of the information and the circumstances. Where permitted by law, consent may be express or implied. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawing consent may limit our ability to provide a requested service.
You can unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message. You can opt out of promotional text messages as described below. We may still send non-promotional messages that are necessary to provide a service, complete a transaction, respond to you, or meet a legal obligation.
Text Messaging Privacy
If you opt in to receive text messages from MyFamily Canada, we may send customer care messages, product and service information, event information, reservation or order updates, pickup reminders, and promotional messages, depending on the consent you provided. Consent to receive promotional text messages is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.
You may reply STOP to opt out of text messages and HELP for assistance. You may also contact us at info@myfamily.ca or +1 514-360-1945. We will process opt-out requests as required by law and applicable messaging rules.
We do not sell or share mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in data, consent records, or text message data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This restriction applies notwithstanding any other disclosure described in this Privacy Policy.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.
We may disclose this information to messaging platform providers, telecommunications carriers, and other service providers only as necessary to operate the text messaging program, deliver messages, process opt-out requests, prevent fraud or misuse, and meet legal or carrier requirements. These providers may use the information only to provide services to us or as required by law.
When We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:
To service providers that support website hosting, e-commerce, payment processing, order fulfillment, shipping, customer service, analytics, security, email, or text messaging. We require them to protect the information and use it only for the services they provide to us.
To professional advisers, insurers, auditors, or financial institutions where reasonably necessary for our operations.
To government authorities, regulators, law enforcement, courts, or other parties where required or permitted by law, or where necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
In connection with a proposed or completed financing, reorganization, merger, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate safeguards and legal requirements.
With your direction or consent.
We do not sell personal information.
Processing Outside Quebec or Canada
Some service providers may process or store personal information outside Quebec or Canada. Information processed in another jurisdiction may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction and may be accessible to its courts, law enforcement, or government authorities. We use contractual and other safeguards appropriate to the information and the services involved.
Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to meet legal, accounting, tax, warranty, dispute-resolution, and recordkeeping requirements, and to establish or defend legal claims. We then securely destroy, delete, or anonymize the information, as appropriate and permitted by law.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a privacy incident creates a real risk of significant harm, we will provide notices and reports as required by law.
Cookies and Analytics
Our websites may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, keep accounts secure, understand website use, support shopping and checkout functions, and measure performance. You can adjust browser settings to refuse or delete cookies, but some website features may not work properly. Where required, we obtain consent before using non-essential cookies.
Your Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information, withdraw consent, or make another privacy request available under applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Some information may be exempt from access or deletion, and we may retain information where required or permitted by law.
You may also contact our Privacy Officer with a question or complaint. If we cannot resolve your concern, you may have the right to contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, depending on the circumstances.
Children
Our websites and services are not directed to children under 14. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 14 without consent as required by law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us improperly, please contact us.
